I got a call today from the NICU telling me that Addy wasn't doing too great... She had a bronchial spasm which wasn't too bad but then she kept having them and they eventually had to bag her cause she couldn't breath. So now she is back on the vent.
She also had a large girth for her stomach so they took her off of her feedings and put her back on IV fluids!! I'm so terrified she's gonna starve!!!
They also found that she has an irregular heartbeat and that she may have an infection which may be the reason she is having trouble breathing.
So hopefully once the infection passes she will come off the vent and go back on her feedings.
As for the irregular heartbeat I will be asking the doctor or nurse when I get there what that may be a sign of.
I just hope she gets better soon. It scares me so bad to see her struggling to live!
